Pintler Veterinary Service in Philipsburg fully transitioned from its long-time Broadway Street office into a brand new facility on Marshall Creek Road at the beginning of May.

This 3,200 square foot building and accompanying haul-in livestock facility just on the outskirts of Philipsburg, will be able to accommodate horses, cattle, companion animal boarding, and will have improved spaces for existing services.
Dr. Dustin Rich (DVM) who has owned and operated the practice since 2012, says the last ten years of growth in the area they serve - from Philipsburg, Drummond, Hall and Helmville, to Anaconda and the Deer Lodge Valley - has meant that Pintler Veterinary Service has also taken the opportunity to move forward with the expansion in 2025.
As well as general and preventive medicine, surgical care, herd health management, dentistry and reproduction, PVS is planning to offer dog and cat boarding, once the practice is fully moved in and operational in its new location.
Pintler Veterinary Service was initially established as a mobile large animal practice. In 2013, Dr. Rich acquired Flint Creek Valley Veterinary Clinic, which had been founded by Dr. Mark Ransford and served the greater Granite County area for many years.
“We’re excited to be able to offer the same personal, knowledgeable and compassionate care we’ve prioritized in the last decade, while responding to the needs of the communities we serve,” Dr. Rich says.
